I know you've seen it, but it might have been awhile and I'm begging you not to forget about The Burbs (1989). Tom Hanks at his high-stressed best teams up with a fat Rick Ducommun and paramilitary nut Bruce Dern in this dark family comedy.
Highlights: Corey Feldman as a thrasher and neighborhood enthusiast throwing block-watching lawn parties; and Malachai (Courtney Gains) from the original Children of the Corn as the similarly cast Eastern European psychopathic teen next door.
